This is what designing a home might look like in the future. They’re called Lifesize Floor Plans, and the idea is pretty wild. An Australian company—fittingly named Lifesize Plans—rents out a massive warehouse and projects your home’s floor plan at a 1:1 scale, so you can actually walk through it before anything is built. They even bring in real furniture and some drywall to give you a feel for the finished space. As AI gets better, their software will be able to make real-time changes on the fly, which is super cool—but what really caught my attention is how strong the business model is. Their test store in Australia pulled in $1.1 million in revenue with just warehouse rent, utilities, and one operator to pay for, running at around 90% gross margin. They charge $1,100 for a one-hour session and are fully booked every day. I could easily see a home builder, real estate developer, or construction company bringing this to the U.S. and absolutely crushing it. I love diving into rabbit holes where tech and business collide, and this one feels like it was made for exactly that. So FORGET THIS…
Lets live large.
