
Although Black Friday is soon upon us, this isn’t a sale on anything. It is however, quite an eerie, and eye open look into online stores. Boy oh boy is Amazon in the crosshairs here, but what is said about Amazon is surely true for the other online sales conglomerates around the world. The Netflix documentary “Buy Now!” is wonderfully structured, and intricately detailed when discussing the pitfalls of the “get it delivered today” world in which we now live. It’s no secret that everyone online is gathered and quantified, evaluated, and used to give you exactly what you want… but to what end? Upon first seeing this trailer randomly, one of the staff was interested, and wondered why you had to buy something on Netflix when you already have a subscription, but THATS how good the marketing ploy for the film is.
