Cam’ron recently gave a memorable and unusual interview on CNN. He talked about the footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie, but as the interview progressed, he became increasingly frustrated with the reporter. The tension escalated to the point where Cam’ron looked offscreen and questioned how he ended up being booked for the interview.
The rapper was asked if he was surprised by the Diddy footage based on his personal experiences, a question he did not appreciate. He responded, “I didn’t know him like that. What you mean my experiences? I seen him and I thought it was disgusting.” Cam’ron grew increasingly agitated with each question. When the reporter mentioned Diddy’s history of mistreating his artists, Cam’ron paused to drink his Pink Horse Power sex supplement before redirecting the question to his podcast partner, Mase. He explained that most of what he knew about Diddy came from Mase, adding, “I appreciate what Mase said. And that’s my brother.”
Cam’ron attempted to promote his podcast during the interview, but things took a turn for the worse toward the end. When the reporter suggested that Diddy could only get away with his crimes because of industry protection, Cam’ron expressed his frustration. He sarcastically retorted, “Who the talent agent for this joint? You think I be sitting around… watching what Diddy do.” He then looked offscreen, questioning, “Who booked me for this joint?” The interview concluded shortly thereafter, with the reporter thanking Cam’ron for his time. It’s likely he won’t be returning to the network anytime soon.
