Batman v Superman v Justice v Suicide Squad v Joker.
San Diego Comic Con is in full effect, and some folks though that with Marvel’s absence, there wouldn’t be that much to cheer for. Wrong. The 3 minute and 40 second full length trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice tore the roof off the convention center in San Diego. I myself was furiously texting my homegirl Vicki, and screaming at the to of my lungs at my television, when I got a fresh look at the movie. The 9/11 style opening shows Bruce Wayne’s relation to events of ‘Man of Steel’, and you see his true nature as people flee from danger, and he runs directly into it. A dead Robin suit, the hint of Doomsday, Superman tearing to doors off of the Batmobile, and the Dark Knight using the man of steel as a skateboard, are all in the extended trailer. Words can’t describe the excitement, check the method below.
The Batman/Superman news isn’t the only thing that DC and Warners had up their sleeve. The ‘Suicide Squad’ trailer was also put online, in a much more glorious fashion. In traditional Comic Con fashion, there is a grainy cell phone video, of the trailer, and many a person whooping when the new Joker shows up.
From the logo, to Joker being the antagonist to the character designs, to Amanda Waller (played by Viola Davis) explaining how Superman brought out more individuals with “abilities”… this movie seems a bit more solid than people have given it credit for in the past. Check the method.
