From massive celebrities like T-Pain to a growing number of individuals on Facebook, this new “Toy Doll” trend shows no signs of slowing down. The three largest toy makeover manufacturers in the AI filter game are currently “Smile AI”, “OMG”, and ChatGPT (if you’ve got the words to describe what you want). So lets go by them one by one. But keep in mind that all of the “dolls” presents, are in fact based on actual people.
Smile AI and OMG are both Facebook “games” technically, and both seem to take your preexisting photos from your profile to create the toy version of yourself. Certain people appear to be clever enough to trick the system into making the examples they want, instead of just what their profiles have (examples being above and below). ChatGPT however takes a much more in depth approach to customization. The words and phrases used to describe the alterations to the original photos much be precise in order to get the desired “doll” look, but once you get the hang of it, its not disappointing. For the reason of not creating bias, we won’t let you know which systems created which photos… you’ll just have to try them all out and see.
