The film ’28 Days Later’ was a classic in so many different ways, pioneering a new take on “the zombie movie” to become THE zombie that all others are compared to. The sequel ’28 Weeks Later’ failed, in the eyes of many to live up to its undead predecessor, but was still a worthy tale to tell. In our first look at ’28 Years Later’, the trailer explores what a tale told would consist of years after a global pandemic. This “28 year later” premise is about 5 years too soon to be match up exactly with the release dates of the other two films, but still seems to explore what exactly may become of human kind after 28 years of a global pandemic. Sony is well aware that it may touch home to those of us who know all too well how much more scary the premise of this film is due to world events. Take a gander at the first trailer below.
