Elizaveta Porodina’s portraits have never ceased to stun the eye with their beauty and complexity. Lighting, arrangement, and her choices of subject seem to be the strong points of her work, and no matter the collection, Porodina’s photos are always worth a look.
Not too long ago, there was a post about German photographer André Josselin‘s photos during his trip to Lollapalooza. There were so many photos we couldn’t put them all into one post, so in part 2, we’re going to pick up right where we left off. Once again you can tell by the rest of his collection how incredibly talented of a photographer he is.
German photographer André Josselin out of Hamburg took a trip with friends to the Lollapolooza festival in Chicago. This unique collection of amazing shots, was beautifully edited, and really brings through the feelings of excitement and allure of not only the city of Chicago, but how good of a time they must have had. Unfortunately the compendium of photos is so large, we had to split it up into two posts. Check out André’s work below, and expect to see some of the rest very soon.
Action movies have been storming the box office since almost the beginning of cinema, and iconic characters have been born from countless movies, and subsequent franchises. Rating the top 10 action heroes is something any movie goer could probably do off the tops of their heads, but unfortunately female heroines have fewer spots in cinema history. This being the case, we thought we’d have a go at the top 10 (of many) female movie icons. Our honorable mention is Neytiri of ‘Avatar’. James Cameron’s most successful motion picture may be about the dopey human male who gets all of the native Na’Vi killed on the planet Pandora, but we all know that Neytiri is the real hero here. She’s the warrior who always stood by her principles, and as played by Zoe Saldana (with the aid of an army of animators), she embodied a unique new action hero for the modern age. The following list is IN an order, however, if you think the order should be moved around, feel free to comment, and let us know.
Of the two female-driven, utterly superficial action movie franchises, Resident Evil has the most personality. (Sorry, Underworld fans.) Milla Jovovich has been bounding from one ridiculous, zombie-fighting, clone-army forming situation to the next over the course of this ludicrous series, and it only gets sillier – and more entertaining – with every passing sequel. She still embodies unadulterated bad-assery in every film.
Foxy Brown’s boyfriend was a secret agent, but when he’s killed in the line of duty she goes on a one-woman mission of revenge against a vile syndicate, destroying sex traffickers and rescuing their victims. Pam Grier is described as “a whole lotta woman,” and the description fits. She is raw and powerful and is an exemplary vision of what strong, driven (black) female heroines can look like.
Although the Mad Max film is ostensibly about a male action hero, but that gets completely stolen by his female co-star. Mad Max is pretty much just along for the ride in Fury Road, while Charlize Theron’s Imperator Furiosa kidnaps a warlord’s sex slaves and fights off horde after horde of high-octane bastards in her quest to find freedom. Theron explodes off the screen, and so does practically everything else in George Miller’s acclaimed post-apocalyptic thriller.
Over the course of the two Kill Bill movies, Uma Thurman takes us on a rich and complicated journey of self-actualization, tragic love and violent vengeance. She’s a thoroughly convincing fighter who dispatches an army of masked assassins, but when the time comes to confront the man who wronged her, she can still feel recognizably human emotions. Quentin Tarantino’s films are vast in scope and intimate in nature, and Thurman gives arguably her best performance within them.
Jennifer Lawrence is building up her action movie credentials (see also: X-Men: First Class and Days of Future Past), but she will always be a legend for playing the reluctant revolutionary Katniss Everdeen in the blockbuster Hunger Games series. She’s comfortable with a bow, uncomfortable with killing, and increasingly confident leading the disenfranchised to war against an apathetic ruling class. Plus she’s a beast with the bow and arrow.
It was a miracle that Ellen Ripley even survived the first Alien movie. In James Cameron’s sequel, she finally fought back, taking the fight directly to the Alien queen and setting the stage for two more sequels in which she refused to be victimized ever again. Sigourney Weaver remains one of the great action hero icons, regardless of gender.
Sarah Connor was running from danger throughout the first Terminator movie, and runs right into it in the blockbuster sequel to save her son from yet another killer automaton bent on bringing about the apocalypse. Linda Hamilton convincingly makes the transition from victim to hero, but James Cameron’s film wisely dedicates time to illustrating the unthinkable psychological toll the events of these movies have had on a woman who, prior to these events, as just as normal as you or I. This is why we specified ‘Terminator 2’ because although she may be a regular 19 year old (Yeah… in the first one for some reason she’s 19 in the script), in the sequel she is a trained military machine, capable of flying off the rails to do whatever is necessary to save her son, and the future.
Like we said, if you think the list was missing anyone, or should be re-arranged, sound off below.
When Denise became “Miss Waldkraiburg” in 2007, it was only the beginning for the German “Wiesn-Playmate”. She was named the German Playmate of the month of October this year, just in time for the German Oktoberfest to start. Through this opportunity, Mexico’s Playboy also showed interest in the German beauty and they recently did a shoot as well. So, sure enough to say that we will hear and see more from this German model very soon.

What is your favorite shoot you’ve ever been involved in?
“Every shoot’s cool and a new experience, so I try to absorb everything and everyone I can. Shooting this with Cheyne was especially cool because he came over and basically hung out in my apartment in Chinatown in NYC. It was intimate and personal and I think the photos he took captured that.”
What about fashion shows?
“The VS show was such a big show for me and my career. It was really cool to be involved. It’s kind of wild to check out the scene. Walking Marc Jacobs was pretty cool, too. And I always love walking for Jeremy Scott. Just fun. ”
Lilia Ermak, or as she’s more popularly known, Lily Ermak, is a stunning case of the internet or the universe plopping down evidence that the feminine physique is something to be worshipped. We actually know very little about this 8th Wonder of the World other than she resides in Russia, and is (unfortunately for us) married. She described herself as “Young mother, wife, model, blogger.”

When Playboy dropped a list of some of the sexiest women on Instagram, I was deeply intrigued. I did have a few beautiful women that I would have put on it myself, but an “honorable mentions” post is something for another day. But once again the list was constructed and put together by the wonderful people at Playboy, but if you’d like to follow any one of the women on the list, feel free to click on their pic, and it’ll take you right to their IG. Enjoy.
Rita G became a nationwide phenomenon after an unprecedented appearance on the Howard Stern E! Television show in late 2003 where Rita magically unveiled the world’s “Best Natural Breasts” with a style all her own! The TV appearances earned powerful ratings, e-mail recognition throughout Stern user groups, and one of the fastest repeat telecasts in the history of the Howard Stern Show (repeated less than two weeks after the original air date). Since that time, Rita has appeared in Playboy Special Edition (“Voluptious Vixens” Nov. 2005), been featured on the COVER of a national magazine (“Smooth Girl” October 2005), appeared in more than a dozen other major magazines, been a regular guest on Dr. Dre’s radio show and Hot 97 out of NYC, and as a correspondent for BET (Black Entertainment Television). If you search for “bass orgasm,” “subwoofer orgasm,” or “sound system orgasms,” you pull up a series of videos of attractive young women sitting in cars and being brought to orgasm by the sound systems. What happens is as follows: a dude turns on an EDM song or something of that nature, and the vibrations produced by the bass cause the women to writhe around, toss their hair sexily, and pant like dehydrated corgis.
Although all of these videos are pretty much exactly as described above, there are a few subtle variations. Here, for instance, is “Super Bass Orgasm.” The best part of the video is how nonchalant the crowd seems to be about the woman in the car, like, “There’s Patti, listening to Skrillex and having an orgasm again. Hey, when’s Bobby supposed to be coming by with the Natty Light?”
Some people have stated that the women are faking it, and that it’s impossible for a woman to climax via a subwoofer. Weather these videos are the work of the ones holding the camera who just want to get their YouTube views up, or these tuner sound systems actually do what some some men can’t… They are quite interesting to watch. But even without the women being a part of these videos, no one can deny that the impressive work that people put into their cars is something to be marveled at.
But when it comes to the female orgasm as a result of woofers being a myth, I want to see the Mythbusters tackle this one.
This campaign caught a lot of attention when the men thought at first that the girls were just dancing together for their entertainment, but sometimes things are not what they seem. Men, women and children are trafficked – tricked, forced and exploited in the sex industry. Awareness campaign created by Duval Guillaume Modem and produced by monodot in support of STOP THE TRAFFIK.
A 25-year-old model with a 42-inch bottom has been crowned Brazil’s new Miss Bum Bum. Dai Macedo, who represented the central state of Goias in the nationwide search for the woman with the most bodacious butt in all of Brazil, was chosen from among 15 finalists by the contest’s grand jury in Sao Paolo this week. “It’s a lot of work, a lot of devotion,” Macedo told Agence France-Presse by way of an interpreter. “I denied myself a lot of things. No nightclubs. No sweets. I went to the gym Saturdays and Sundays.” The sacrifice is well worth it. Miss Bum Bum winners become instant celebrities in Brazil, and receive a fortune in endorsements. But the glamor comes with its share of drama. Earlier this year, a columnist for Brazilian newspaper O Dia accused Miss Bum Bum contestants Mari Sousa and Eliana Amaral of bribing judges in attempts to win.
In a note published in October, well in advance of the winners being announced, the newspaper reported that Sousa had secured top honors by paying thousands of dollars to judges. It also claimed Amaral paid $32,000 to judges and would come in second. Those ethically suspect predictions did not pan out (although Amaral was awarded third place), but even the future bum-bum queen became embroiled in the scandal at the time. Angered by the accusations, Macedo joined other contestants in lashing out against corruption in Miss Bum Bum via social media, according to News.co.au. Macedo distanced herself from the outburst after winning the competition. “I’m all emotional. I didn’t expect to win,” Macedo said, according to News.co.au. “All hell broke loose on social media sites but now I can say the contest was real.”
Pusha T gathers a few sexy women for his dark music video “Sweet Serenade,” which sees the Virginia emcee aggressively rapping about the life that he made while celebrating his success. In the Colin Tilley-directed steamy visual, Pusha chills on a beach chair surrounded by bikini-clad, alluring women; one making the booty clap on a stripper pole. Brown lends his support by crooning the smooth chorus.
“‘Sweet Serenade,’ it doesn’t sound really sweet, it’s pretty dark, so to capture that, we came and shot on the beach at nighttime. It gives it that eery feel, but still soothing,” states Pusha.
Director Anthony Mandler has produced the visuals to Jay Z and Justin Timberlake’s new release “Holy Grail”, which comes from Carter’s twelfth studio album Magna Carta… Holy Grail. The video sees Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, and some cloth-covered women in an abandoned mansion and includes a slightly remixed version of the collaborative track. Prior to this, the American director had frequently collaborated with Rihanna and has produced videos for Eminem, Usher, Drake, M.I.A. and Lana Del Rey, amongst many others.
