A 10,000/10 experience, no exaggeration. For just $30 a ticket, I walked into what can only be described as cinema luxury. Full-on lounge vibes, unlimited snacks, popcorn, drinks—and instead of a stiff movie seat? A whole comfortable bed. Yes. A BED. Word of warning though: do not come sleepy. This is not the place to “rest your eyes.” My friend learned that the hard way and was out cold before the previews finished.
The movie of the night was The Paradise of Thorns, and let me tell you, it had me on my TOES the entire time. Edge-of-the-bed type suspense. Even though the film was in Thai, the language barrier didn’t take away from the experience at all. If anything, it pulled me in deeper. Bangkok continues to surprise me, and The Bed Cinema is officially one of those “you HAVE to experience this” spots.
