20th Century Studios has announced Predator: Killer of Killers, an animated action-adventure film set in the Predatoruniverse, premiering on Hulu on June 6, 2025. The anthology film follows three fierce warriors from different eras: a Viking seeking revenge, a ninja battling for succession in feudal Japan, and a WWII pilot confronting an otherworldly threat. Despite their deadly skills, they are no match for a new opponent, the ultimate “killer of killers.” Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also directed Prey, the film was written by Micho Robert Rutare, with the story crafted by Trachtenberg and Rutare, based on characters created by Jim and John Thomas.
This movie marks the first of two Predator films coming in 2025, with the second being the live-action Predator: Badlands. The franchise is rebounding after The Predator (2018) underperformed, with Prey revitalizing it. Predator: Killer of Killers is the result of creative ideas from Trachtenberg, who, after Prey‘s success, pitched two unique projects, with the animated film being one of them. The film is produced by John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, and others, and it will be exclusively available on Hulu.
