Certainly, somehow, sweat has ceased to drip from the heads of some, as the dreaded TikTok ban only lasted for roughly 12 hours. As most already know, the livelihoods of many advertisers, influencers, and content absorbers has been seemingly saved by the incoming administration. (We’re not here to get political, only to keep your mind at ease that your favorite cat videos are safe). From food tutorials, to life advice and everything in between, things seemed dire as ByteDance was slated to sell its crown jewel due to U.S. privacy concerns in regards to China. Most American users however, seemed unfazed by the risk, and it showed. The ban on the ban is temporary, but shows no real signs of threatening TikTok permanently in the United States. Seems to be good news for all, but lets see how things hold up.
