It’s no surprise that the “Power Rangers” have been reformatted from show to show, actor to actor, story to story, or film to film. It’s like a boy band that keeps the same name buy changes every couples of years. Be these changes for good or ill, there’s a new conceptualization by spectacular artist “AntyGabo14” that is refreshingly unique. The first thing one may notice is the switch up of assigned colors between the characters. (Some nit-pickers have thought it odd that the original Black Ranger was black, and the Yellow Ranger was Asian, but whatever). Also, a unique detail, but not an unnoticed one, is the difference in physical size between the different rangers. Different body styles would be natural for a group of different fighters. Generally in the Power Rangers realm, all of the characters are the same build… ALL the time (probably making it simpler for stunt performers to switch up smoothly). But all in all, this unique take deserves a serious look from Saban.
