First and foremost, so many people have declared the death of drawing once 3D came onto the scene. We’re not sure how these people THINK 3D animation begins, but it’s not out of nowhere. From the imagination, to a pencil to paper is where any style of animation typically begins for any animator, but Choro Choi just does it so damn well. (Please do check him on on IG at @ChoiiChoro for far more than we could post). A fraction of a single of a finished work is above, but let’s go backward through the steps.
After all that, things just continue to get better. Burning Shores, Horizon, just add a little color, and things just get greater. The detail in the color work, the shading used in the expressions, and the over all attention to detail can’t be emphasized enough.
