Fakes vs. Fan Made (PART 1)

Fakes vs. Fan Made (PART 1)
Fakes vs. Fan Made (PART 1)

It’s the best fan made trailer we’ve seen in a while, but it still brings about the issue of fan trailers… its critical that any type of creatives collaborate to concoct any creations they can conceive of… but let it be known that its custom.  Don’t use the YouTube trick of naming your work a trailer when it IS NOT.  There have been countless clicks that lead to seconds that add up to minutes of wasted time by random viewers being deceived into thinking that they found what they wanted.

Disney’s ‘The Acolyte Final Trailer’ may be quite an impressive fake, and a great demonstration of what good editors can do when given the right clips and sound bytes… but it’s not a real representation of the final product.  The closest some will ever see to “real” is ‘Logan The Wolf’… which we’ll post in part 2 of our first ever DOUBLE post.  It felt necessary to pup up a great example of an original work spun of from popular media, in comparison to decent attempts to play ones own work off as the real deal.  THAT being said, there are quite a great number that state its a “fan made” trailer, so congrats to those that don’t try to post as the real thing.  Here are some quite well, to quite weak prospective post ups of crowd created concoctions.

This has no trailer, but is a spectacular “runner” up.
