Joyner Lucas and Conway the Machine have teamed up for a what is quite a classic return to what many consider “true hip-hop”. Sticks & Stones (Not Now I’m Busy) is a no-chorus-included, straight to the streets, bar-fest that music listeners haven’t had much of in recent times. The duo even just took the simplistic approach to the video by simply… spitting in the streets, AND making it look good. Conway may have a slanted smile, but his straight delivery describes his point perfectly, while Lucas’s love for lyricism shines through in the second half of the track.
