So the staff here have so many ears to the ground that it’s nearly impossible to get anything past us in the realm of entertainment… Until about an hour ago. Beverly Hills Cop is one of Eddy Murphy’s breakout rolls, (like that time he broke through a window in Beverly Hills Cop 1) but the character has seen a few sequels since. Beverly Hills Cop 2 was somewhat unmemorable… that’s not to say it wasn’t GOOD, we just don’t remember it. And 3 was just straight up bad. However, with the return on the franchise, many may wonder, will there be any swearing (a staple of the franchize) or will we get another watered down version of the original with a weak plot that takes place about 40 years after the original? We are preparing for the worst, while praying for the best. Yet with all that being said, a flabbergasted and surprised staff will enjoy watching this new Netflix movie none the less.
