Bumblebee is a prequel story set in the ’80s, which gave Paramount and director Travis Knight the freedom to reintroduce several well-knownTransformers characters sporting classic G1 designs – something old-school fans were very happy to see.  The most recent trailer for the spin-off gave us a few teasing glimpses of Optimus Prime looking a lot more like the original interpretation of the Autobot leader than he did in Michael Bay’s movies, and now we can get a much better idea of his final design thanks to this “Generation 1” featurette and the new image featured above.  The video also includes interviews with Knight, as well as stars Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena.
