Holman House On The Hill

Situated on the edge of a cliff seventy feet, this house offers a complex series of spaces to be fluid, enrolled in a perimeter formed by a series of curves and counter that extend in response to the landscape and the sun.

Areas up day one cantilevered over the ocean allowing excellent views of the coast. The lower floor is a base built with rough stone walls as an extension of the cliff. These walls continue along the edge of the cliff into a series of terrace gardens and swimming pool. Beyond the details, Holman House is a masterpiece of unsettling and inspiring architecture.
