Artist Doug McCune recently took real data, and topographically mapped out the crime rates across San Francisco. The most stunning render is of the prostitution rate in San Francisco… which posts the Tenderloin, as S.F.’s “Hooker Mountain”.
There were also a few other crime statistics that were drawn up topographically in San Francisco.
As you can see with all the different maps, some crimes are more centralized, and other are very wide spread around the city. Another outstanding map that caught my eye was the map for Narcotics, check it out below.
