The Avengers Superbowl Trailer.

The 30-second version of the new trailer for The Avengers that ran today on the Super Bowl gave us just the barest of glimpses at the Hulk. The extended, 60-second version doesn’t show us much more of the angry green giant, but we do get to see the lovable rageaholic from the front, at least.

Even more tantalizing: Blink and you’ll miss a couple shots that appear to feature the mysterious alien army that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) brags about to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). They’ve been long rumored to be the Skrulls, and the seemingly dark-green armored uniforms of the invading horde would certainly lend fuel to that fire.  But without a doubt, the best line in the trailer comes at the very end.  “I have an army”…. “We have a Hulk.”  Check the method below.

NBA 2K11 TV Spot.

The new commercial for the video game NBA 2K12 isn’t exactly basketball discourse at its finest, but it’s guaranteed to get people talking. The premise: Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, the rapper Drake, and fans of the Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks debate which NBA team was the greatest of all time.  In case you were wondering, Jordan names the 1996 Bulls as the greatest team ever. That year, the Bulls went 72-10 in the regular season, setting an NBA record for wins, and 15-3 in the postseason, defeating the Seattle SuperSonics in six games to win the title. Jordan averaged 30.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.2 steals and shot 49.5% from the field on his way to his fourth ring.

Quote Of The Day: Michael  Jordan: “I let my ring do my talking.”

Jay-Z On The Battlefield.

Eminem has been known to support some of his favorite games by donating some of his music to the soundtrack (Call Of Duty/DJ Hero) but Mr. Shady isn’t the only one.  If your familiar with DJ Hero, you know that Eminem teamed up with Jay-Z to add some tracks exclusive to the deluxe edition, but this time around, Jay-Z is catching some attention with a remix of 99 Problems that’s being featured in the new Battlefield 3 TV spot.  Check the method below.

The Lurkiest Commercial Ever.

I loved this years Superbowl, and it’s commercials, and I tried to get off of the subject once it was over, but this one Doritos commercial keeps popping up on TV, and puts me on the floor each time.  It aired during Super Bowl 45, but I’m 90% certain I didn’t see it.  With a funky blend of McLovin (not the Christopher Mintz-Plasse, but someone who looks just like him) Doritos, and an unprecedented amount of “lurkiness”, this commercial drops my jaw every single time I see it.
