With the lyrical strength Papoose has had from the second he entered the rap arena, it’s always been a mystery of mysteries as to why he’s constantly overlooked. Every once In a while, regardless of their situation, an rapper doesn’t have to punch down on a freestyle track, or punch up… in ‘Though I Was Gonna Stop’, Papoose matches wits with Lil Wayne, and simply punches LINES. Check the method below, and dont fear to let us know what you think about this Timbaland produced track below. We only wish it was a little bit longer.
The artist known as “Untitled Save” hails from Porto, Portugal, and has developed a fantastically unique yet simple style of artwork fit for any frame. Merging traditional and classic artists with modern stylings may not be the newest concept, but the way it’s done is key. These blends of figures like Marlyn Monroe, Mona Lisa, and even Salvador Dali are transposed onto contemporary templates. By criss crossing different photos, paintings and drawing Untitled Save creates all new delineations that are just plain awesome to behold. Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) flabbergasted the country when he randomly released his incredible video for “This Is America”. The symbolism, reflections of the current state of the U.S., and the over all tone of the music video is undeniably well thought out, original, and has resonated to not just Americans. Several artists from all around the world have stepped up to represent the problems in the places that they live. NOW, not to downplay the plights of other nations, but the similar styles, which are directly bitten from Gambino seem a bit unoriginal, and although the messages are clear, insightful, and informative, after a bit, one would hope that these artists would have found their own way to convey their thoughts. That being said, these “remixes” of ‘This Is America’ are extremely worth taking a listen to. Between I-NZ bringing light to the state of Iraq post Americas 2003 invasion, or Falz discussing the conditions of current day Nigera, you can search for almost any country you want, you’ll find one of these videos. Check the method below, listen to the messages.

Missy Elliott is the comeback queen. Her last album, The Cookbook, came out way back in 2005, but since that time she’s popped up here and there, and in each instance she’s been met with the same level of exuberant enthusiasm. Most recently, she made an appearance at Katy Perry’s Super Bowl halftime show , which stirred up the Missy Elliott fever and got everyone extra hungry for new stuff from her. Elliott has dropped hints that she’s been working with Timbaland on her seventh studio album, but no word has been given as to when it’ll be out. Thankfully, we’ve got this brand new video for “WTF (Where They From)” to hold us over. The video features Pharrell Williams and will get your weird shoulders popping for sure.
Will Smith recently dropped his first verse in a decade on a remix of Bomba Estereo’s “Fiesta,” and now the actor-returned-rapper is ending his similarly lengthy video drought by appearing in the group’s clip. The new “Fiesta” video takes place at the tail end of a neon-coated warehouse party, with the arrival of a cloaked figure – Smith dressed like it’s an I Am Legend sequel – reigniting the festivities. In a making-of video for the “Fiesta” remix, Smith again breaks down why he decided to end his hip-hop hiatus by jumping on the Bomba Estereo track. “I was in Colombia with Marc Anthony. He was listening to music and I heard the ‘Fuego, fuego’ and I was like, ‘Yo, that joint is crazy,'” Smith said of hearing the Colombian band for the first time. Smith’s manager happened to be friends with people at Bomba Estereo’s record label, who then provided the actor with the “Fiesta” single. “I said, ‘That is crazy, I need to be on that.'”
Word is also that it’s about to be a legit “Fiesta” at this year’s Latin Grammys. People en Español reports that Will Smith will be joining his new Latin BFFs Bomba Estéreo for a performance of their recent collaboration, which can only be described as an epic carnival with a few bilingual, Big Willie-style verses sprinkled on top as confetti. “It’s truly an honor for me to perform at the Latin Grammys,” Smith told the magazine. “To be surrounded with so many artists who have made such an impact globally is really exciting to me.”
Earlier this week, the rapper Meek Mill unleashed a series of tweets that sought to expose the much more famous rapper Drake as a fraud. The two had recently collaborated on the Meek Mill single “R.I.C.O.,” and Meek seemed a bit salty that Drake hadn’t promoted the tune on his social media or whatever his reason was, so he accused him of using a ghostwriter on the tune and faking his raps. Drake stayed relatively quiet about it until he released his response ‘Charged Up’ today. Check it out below!
Jidenna heads to the West Coast in the remix video for his summer hit “Classic Man.” Once he touched down among the palm trees, he links up with Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar.

If you’re feeling the groove, both “Classic Man” and the remix will appear on the six-track EP Wondaland Presents: The Eephus, which drops Aug. 14th. The disc will also feature Janelle Monáe and Jidenna’s hit “Yoga.”
In a world where movies consistently go over the top with stunts, and CG flipping cars, and visual effects gorillas, its nice to see film makers returning to practical action shots (Meaning everything on film was actually filmed, and not just faked by amazing visual effects artists). The next installment of the Mission Impossible franchise, looks to deliver a stunt more mind blowing than Tom Cruise hanging outside of the the largest building in the world (which was also real), being Top Cruise hanging off of a military aircraft as it takes flight. Not kidding, there are multiple photos of it being shot.
Aside from this pretty awesome cherry on top of a great trailer, is the Lauren Hill, ‘Ready or Not’ remix that plays in the background. The song meshes perfectly with the dark and ominous tone of the 5th franchise film that depicts the IMF team against their more dangerous advisories yet. Check the method below, and I’m curious to see what people think of that plane scene.

San Francisco is home to many unique dining experiences and cafes that can be found nowhere else. Sugar Cafe, in SF’s bustling downtown is a favorite among students, tourists, and city dwellers alike. The unique ambiance provides a great working environment, and the menu can keep a person there all day for breakfast, lunch, and evening drinks. The music at Sugar is also something that struck us, memorable, but relaxing, the impeccable selection is great listening, even if it serves as background music. DJ Storm felt the need create a mix that payed homage to the cafe that has hosted some of his interviews, small events, friendly gatherings, and leisurely work space for the last 10 years. Although the mix itself hasn’t been heard through the speakers in Sugar as of yet, it’s being played by DJ’s as far away as the North Pacific. (The photo below is from DJ Jeff Phantom of Hawaii). Click either of the pics to download the first half of this hour long relaxation mix.
