Subwoofers… The Funniest Way To Initiate The Female Orgasm.

orgasm-1If you search for “bass orgasm,” “subwoofer orgasm,” or “sound system orgasms,” you pull up a series of videos of attractive young women sitting in cars and being brought to orgasm by the sound systems. What happens is as follows: a dude turns on an EDM song or something of that nature, and the vibrations produced by the bass cause the women to writhe around, toss their hair sexily, and pant like dehydrated corgis.

Although all of these videos are pretty much exactly as described above, there are a few subtle variations. Here, for instance, is “Super Bass Orgasm.” The best part of the video is how nonchalant the crowd seems to be about the woman in the car, like, “There’s Patti, listening to Skrillex and having an orgasm again. Hey, when’s Bobby supposed to be coming by with the Natty Light?”

Some people have stated that the women are faking it, and that it’s impossible for a woman to climax via a subwoofer.  Weather these videos are the work of the ones holding the camera who just want to get their YouTube views up, or these tuner sound systems actually do what some some men can’t… They are quite interesting to watch.  But even without the women being a part of these videos, no one can deny that the impressive work that people put into their cars is something to be marveled at.

But when it comes to the female orgasm as a result of woofers being a myth, I want to see the Mythbusters tackle this one.

Juan Sanchez Castillo Miniature Figures on Faces

juan-ssnchez-castillo-places-miniatures-on-faces-for-making-it-up-series-designboom-01

Using miniature figures and makeup, murcia-based photographer juan sánchez castillo creates small landscapes and scenes directly onto the face of a model. ‘Making it up’ comprises a series of photos which animate tiny workers and children interacting with the female’s facial features. In one example, white powder transforms the model’s face into a snowy panorama, as cheekbones become mountaintops and the bridge of a nose visualizes as a steep, snow-covered slope, all the while small-scale characters are pictured sledding and rolling snowballs down the surface of skin. ‘Painters at work’ presents two tiny overall-clad men, attempting to apply color to the giant lips that face them — with part of the lipstick removed, the scene simulates the painter’s work in progress. Each vignette presents a combination of body art and miniatures, creating imaginative and whimsical compositions.

It would be nearly impossible for comic book inspired artwork to become more popular than it currently is. Over the years we’ve seen superhero inspired everything, and it looks like the trend continues with these Comic Book Portraits by Sandra Chevrier. As an illustrator, Chevrier is constantly creating works of art, and this offering is certainly no exception.  She has used collages of superheroes like  Superman, Green Lantern and Batman to cover the faces of female portraits, leaving only the eyes or mouths exposed.

Skin Deep

Paris based photographer Julien Palast knows how to showcase the human body in a particular way. What’s interesting about this series is that despite basically shrink-wrapping and hiding the human forms, you actually become more aware of them. The contours and curves of the female and male figures are slickly highlighted by the well-selected material—a gradiented array of vibrantly tropical colors and just enough sheen in all the right places.
