You may have strong, fond memories of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as a child, or maybe you had to buy the toys for your kids, maybe you lived in Siberea from 1992 until 1999, and have no idea what I’m referring to… But regardless of your association these colorful heroes, they are getting a big budget reboot soon.  Atlanta native Goni Montes, has taken his illustration skills to create some extremely impressive solo posters for the Rangers.  Check the method.

What Happens When You Make Guys Talk To Hot Girls.

mila-kunis-in-gq-russia-august-2012-photos-hi-res-001Have you ever walked into the first day of one of your college classes and seen a girl like this sitting down next to you?  (Probably not, because that’s Mila Kunis eating a flower…) But a girl so off the wall beautiful you’re not quite sure what to say?  Over time people develop crushes, and most of the time it’s the male who’s afraid to reach out to the woman.  Simple Pickup however, went around and turned a few guys into men, by forcing them to call their crushes… on camera… on speaker-phone.  Check out some these really funny outcomes below.

Batman Vs. Superman Filming

batman_vs_superman

At East Los Angeles College during halftime of their home football game. Weingart Stadium was turned into the Gotham City University home stadium for a game against their rival, Metropolis State University. It started with Warner Bros. telling the crowd that they were going to be in Batman vs. Superman. Yes, a Warner Bros. representative referred to the movie as Batman vs. Superman. That’s still not the official title, but it’s one that keeps coming up. Warner Bros. also announced that this would be the opening of the movie. Then two scenes were filmed. Both plays were from around Gotham city’s 30 yard line. The first play was a tackle for a Metropolis loss. The second was for a touchdown pass to the corner of the end zone for Metropolis. Then the bench cleared for Gotham and they had to break up a fight on the field. Gotham never even went on offense.

“Day 1 of filming for 2015’s “Batman Vs. Superman”. The scene takes place at Gotham City University’s Stadium facing off against rivals Metropolis University. Everyone in the audience was given various Gotham Football shirts. Some black, some yellow, some T Shirts, some sweatshirts, etc. Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300, Man of Steel) was on set, however the main characters were not there.”

Asking Guys For Sex (Social Experiment)

CollegeDose_662

The Whatever YouTube video team has done a social experiment to take this research into the field. In a video, college dudes are suddenly approached by an attractive co-ed, who asks if they want to have sex with her. It started off with one man calling the police. Other responses included “Have you been drinking?” and “Are you … what?” Guessing that every guy said yes? Think again.

Diggy Talks About His J.Cole Diss Track.

As a young emcee in the Hip Hop game, it’s important not to get wrapped up in the wrong things. Drugs, ridiculous behavior and rap beef tend to be detrimental to a new career. Doggy Simmons was recently heard making some rather unscrupulous remarks towards J. Cole, and I was a bit confused as to why he would lash out like that. Diggs however did a radio interview recently and explained why he said what he said, and at the end of it, I can’t help but admit, I’d have done the same thing. Check the method below.

…And knowing, is half the battle.

The Artwork of Gene Guynn.

Gene Guynn is one of the most ridiculous skilled painters I’ve seen in quite some time.  (That’s probably because I studied at my old school, The Academy Of Art University.)  With a painter for a mother and a musician for a father, his world was always one of creativity and expression. Gene takes inspiration from the thriving urban, outsider, and lowbrow art culture of SF, LA, and NYC, and combines it with a fine art sophistication, especially taking influence from contemporary masters such as Jenny Saville and Lucian Freud. After graduating with a BFA in painting in 2008, Gene moved from San Francisco to the Los Angeles area, where he continues to paint and further evolve his personal style and exhibit in galleries all over the world.

Nicki Minaj Goes Back To School.

Nicki Minaj became principal for a day when she visited Chicago’s Collins Academy on Thursday. The school won the ‘Get MotivatED Challenge,’ a six-week competition to improve daily attendance rates at schools nationwide, scoring a visit from the hip-hop star.

Throughout the day, Nicki, who graduated from LaGuardia High School in New York City, stressed the importance of education. “I am a young, female mogul before I am an artist,” she said. “As a business woman there isn’t a single day where I don’t use my education or acquire new knowledge to ensure my success.”
She continued, “Regardless of where you are today, with education you can take yourself where you want to be. That’s why I am working with the Get Schooled Foundation. They are finding innovative and exciting ways to bring that message to schools like the Collins Academy.”

In an all-school assembly, the rapper presented three exemplary students — Amanda Chaney, Rachael Pillot and Japone Johnson — with $10,000 college scholarships, courtesy of Comcast. The singer also took over a freshman English class and helped teach a lesson.

According to Get Schooled, if students have more than 10 absences in a year, their likelihood of graduating on time drops significantly. On the other hand, students who are more involved in school activities, are more likely to attend school regularly and graduate on time. In the case of Collins Academy, the 400-student school saw an almost 7 percent increase in attendance over the course of the last six weeks, making it the winner of the challenge.

The 6 Girls You’ll Date In College.

Most guys have dated their fair share of girls in their college days.  I too have had a few different types that were serious for a bit, but when I saw the College Humor skit “The 6 Girls You’ll Date In College”, my jaw dropped.  I’m pretty sure I’ve encountered 5 out of 6 types of the girls listed.  (The “Girl Who Loves To Party” doesn’t really apply to me, simply because going to clubs is my job.)  But other than that, almost all the rest were dead on.  Guys, check the method below, and see if College Humor didn’t hit the nail on the head.

The Sun Drop Commercial.

I have alot of exciting projects going on, revolving around women, including interviews with 2 British beauties, (Carmel Candy, and Jessica Castillo) and a photo series in May with a German hottie.   But the girl in the new ‘Sun Drop’ soda commercial is something else all together. First of all, this commercial should have for sure been a Superbowl ad, and features music from Snoop Dog, and narration from Fat Man Scoop. But more importantly the girl dancing in the commercial is such a G, you just have to respect it. She starts off rather unsuspectingly, opening a soda, (actually in the begining she almost sort of reminds me of a girl named Kari I had a crush on in college.)  But immediately after opening the soda, she uh… “drops it like its hott” and proceeds to dance her ass off for the duration of the commercial.  Check the method.

Kings Cup.

Every college student in the United States knows the notorious drinking game Kings Cup.  And we all know how much of a pain it is to explain the rules to someone who has never played before.  Well luckily the rap genius Paperface has simplified the task of laying out the rules to a newcomer by recording the song “Kings Cup”.  So next time your at a frat party, birthday, or just bored with some friends, and you need to spell out the rules, just play the track.  Click the pic to download.
