One Of The Strangest Farms You’ll Ever See.

Gibbs Farm is an unusual setting for a sculpture collection. The North Auckland property is dominated by the Kaipara Harbour, the largest harbour in the Southern hemisphere.  Walking the land visitors can appreciate how each artist has come to terms in their own way with the gravitational pull that is exerted on everything as the mountains roll into hills and slide into gullies and slope down towards the wide flat expanse of the Kaipara harbour.

After nearly twenty years Gibbs Farm includes major works by Graham Bennett, Chris Booth, Daniel Buren, Bill Culbert, Neil Dawson, Marijke de Goey, Andy Goldsworthy, Ralph Hotere, Anish Kapoor, Sol LeWitt, Len Lye, Russell Moses, Peter Nicholls, Eric Orr, Tony Oursler, George Rickey, Peter Roche, Richard Serra, Kenneth Snelson, Richard Thompson, Leon van den Eijkel and Zhan Wang.

The Eye-catching Artworks Of Rory Kurtz.

Rory Kurtz has been illustrating since he was old enough to hold a crayon. Self-taught and focusing in pencil, ink, and digital paint, Rory has carved out his niche as a unique voice in the illustration community. Working with digital media allows his paintings a greater amount of versatility, and faster production time, which makes all the difference when meeting deadlines. His influences are spread out across the respective wolds of literature, fashion, art, film, & music. His work isn’t necessarily easy to define, as he tends to shift from one style to the next and back again as fits the assignment, but the individual pieces seem unified by a shared sense of fantasy in a modern reality.

Gatorade has partnered with artists from around the world to create a dynamic print campaign featuring star athletes representing different sports such as NFL, Baseball, Tennis and Athleticism. The campaign features illustrations of the athletes that demonstrate the benefits of Gatorade products and drives at the idea that athletic performance is driven from the inside. Commissioned by TBWA\Chiat\Day he was direct to illustrate a combo of 3 ads for the campaign including the artworks for Cam Newton, Derek Jeter and Usain Bolt, the visual direction was well accepted by PepsiCo and they invited me also for a fourth ad for JJ Watt and participate on a feature for MTV interviewing the star.
