YOSHIROTTEN returns to Tokyo with ‘Transmissions with the Beyond’, his first major solo exhibition in the city in eight years. It opened on October 30 at TOKYO NODE and runs through January 11, 2027, filling a dark hall with immersive light and sound. Visitors stand before a glowing, sunset-like screen that turns the room into a space of colour, reflection and scale.
What sets the show apart is how far it reaches beyond the gallery. Space-inspired works were developed with JAXA, Japan’s space agency, and the exhibition also includes a Pokémon Trading Card Game collaboration. It is art that looks outward, to orbit and to play, while keeping the viewer at the centre of the experience.
