This year’s NBA All-Star Game introduced a new tournament-style format, with four teams of eight players competing in three games. Steph Curry led “Team Shaq” to victory on his home court, earning MVP honors. Although LeBron James, who had a record 21st All-Star selection, was expected to play alongside Curry, he was unable to participate due to ankle soreness. In the final, Team Shaq’s OGs defeated “Team Chuck,” which included stars like Nikola Jokić and Victor Wembanyama. Earlier, Curry’s team beat “Team Candace,” winners of the Rising Stars competition, and in the first game, “Team Chuck” triumphed over “Team Kenny.” Curry’s performance, which included 20 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and two assists, made this his second All-Star MVP award, and it was particularly special as it occurred in his home arena, Chase Center. This victory capped a remarkable six-month period for Curry, following his contribution to Team USA’s Olympic gold medal in August. Check the highlights here, as courtesy of ‘House Of Highlights‘.
