Come Watch Who ‘The Watcher’ Is Watching.

In her feature film directorial debut, Ishana Shyamalan steps into the spotlight, following in the footsteps of her father, M. Night Shyamalan, to helm the upcoming horror mystery film, “The Watchers.” Ishana has been steadily building her career in writing and directing since the age of 19, collaborating closely with her father on various projects. Notably, she served as a writer, producer, and director for M. Night’s acclaimed Apple TV+ series “Servant,” which is currently in its fourth and final season. Ishana’s contributions to the show include writing ten episodes, and she directed six, with two of them serving as season finales. Additionally, the talented director worked alongside her father as an assistant director on his 2021 film “Old” and the 2023 production “Knock At The Cabin.”

Ishana’s upcoming film, “The Watchers,” was acquired by New Line Cinema earlier last year, with President and Chief Creative Officer Richard Brener praising the script, stating, “The script grips you from the first page and never lets you go.” This article aims to provide comprehensive insights into the highly anticipated movie. Initially slated for release on June 7, Ishana recently announced a slight delay, pushing the release date to Father’s Day weekend, June 14, 2024.

Amidst a renewed push to revive exclusive theatrical releases, “The Watchers” is set to follow suit by initially premiering exclusively in theaters. However, following its theatrical run, the movie will subsequently be made available for streaming. Given its association with New Line Cinema and parent company Warner Bros. Pictures, it is highly probable that the film will be accessible for streaming on Max (formerly HBO Max). Furthermore, audiences can anticipate the movie to be offered for purchase or rental on other popular streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime or Google Play.
