The hybrid camera-lens is intended for use with a mobile phone, and does represent a new niche in the market, however may not be specialized enough for photography purists. Connecting wirelessly via a Sony app seems to contribute inherent lag issues to the newfangled device, while the review also touches on shortcomings with the app interface. To it’s credit, the device does boast a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens, 3.6x optical zoom resulting in crisp photos and videos.
