MGK – La La La (The Floating Song)

After putting in the hard work, Machine Gun Kelly enjoys his success in the video for “La La La (The Floating Song),” a bonus cut off his debut Lace Up. The “Wild Boy” rides an ATV, smokes on the beach, and parties on a yacht with his EST crew in the laid-back visuals, which were shot during his holiday vacation in Saint Martin. Security tried to stop him from filming, but he wasn’t about to put down the camera. Next up, MGK will release his new single “Peso” featuring Meek Mills and Pusha T, followed by his mixtape in February.

Harvard university press identity – an ivy-encircled, shield- shaped insignia had resided beautifully on the spines of countless books, but was too complicated to work effectively in the digital realm, both in terms of rending and unifying the  imprint across ever- proliferating platforms. So the century-old publishing house came to Chermayeff & Geismar, which had designed logos for major publishers such as harper collins, princeton university press, the smithsonian institution and the library of congress to create a new identity designed for the digital age.

Rotterdam-based sicilian artist giuseppe licari presents a network of tree roots hanging from the ceiling like foreign, organic chandeliers. His site-specific installation titled ‘humus’ –  which refers to the soil layer that is essential for the growth of trees and plants – features the extended prickly roots of trees affixed to the top of a constructed ceiling, transforming the room into a sort of underground lair. The work articulates a world where visitors are able to get an exclusive peek at a hidden world beneath a park or forest. The dead trees are presenting with their roots, the condition of the soil in which they have grown in their urban environment. The relationship between humankind and nature, growth and decay are central themes in licari’s work, which resonates with an echo of arte povera.
