The Brand New Lamborghini Aventador.

Italian sports marque Lamborghini has unveiled the new flagship of its lineup at the Geneva Motor Show.  The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 will be delivered to the first customers in late summer 2011, the company confirmed March 1, describing the model as a “new reference among super sports cars.”  The model uses a carbon fiber monocoque (integrated chassis) which gives the Aventador a weight of 1,575 kg and features the same upward-opening doors used on its predecessors such as the Diablo and Murcielago.  It boasts a 6.5 liter V12 engine which can deliver 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.  Inside, Lamborghini has taken inspiration from airplanes and opted to display all of the instruments on a TFT-LCD screen, using a second display to show the vehicle’s multimedia and navigation system.  The car starts at €255,000 and is one of several new top-end models on show at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland — March 1 also saw the debut of the new Porsche Panamera Hybrid S, the Ferrari FF and the new Maserati 2012 GranTurismo Convertible.
