So while in LA, I’m spending a bit of time with one of my good friends and fellow entrepreneur Sarah C, and filled me in on one of the best places in Australia to grab a cup of coffee. Now some may wonder why a coffee shop in the land down under is relevant to me, but I do have a few friends around that way (Whats up Logan) and Sarah happens to own part of the shop, so if you are craving for traditional French pastries in Sydney, make an effort to cross the Harbour Bridge to the lovely lower north shore, Neutral Bay. The resident chef Khoon Nok had been trained by the previous French pastry chef, Bernard Thoral for many years before taking over the business. Sydney foodies go to Le Patissier for croissants but expect to be wowed with her over 50 varieties of cakes, tarts, biscuits, friands and pastries, but one of the barristas, Mick, has a special talent for decorating coffee that amazes me. (And I don’t even drink coffee.)
