Rich Gilbert’s Superfoam Chair.
The work done by The Agency of Design is flabbergastingly beautiful, but Rich Gilbert and his Super Foam are an incredible stand out to the collection, check out its creation below.

It’s a little know fact that I have an affinity for zoo’s, (and a widely known fact that I have an undying love for music), so following an online presence titled “Muzic Zoo” should have occurred to me earlier. The site features an incredible range of artists, from global stars to independent new comers, and puts their music on display for the public to rate, comment on, and support the artists of their choosing. MZ’s interview section is also a fantastic way to get a unique perspective on the artists coming up in the charts via exclusive interviews. The content on Muzic Zoo is updated daily, so there’s always something fresh. Check them out by clicking any of the photos.
With my affinity for both cooking, and fine dining, it used to seem as though certain dishes only seem to be accessible at the best restaurants on the planet. The website ‘The Art Of Plating’, has luckily made it a point to demonstrate to chefs, and food aficionados alike how to get your plates to look like they came from the kitchen of a 5 star restaurant. Check some of their examples, and make sure to pass by their site.
PENIS… The P is for Penis. I’ve come across many, many a talented illustrator, but it’s the ones who’s styles transcend the norm that stick out to me. Once I saw just two illustrations from good ol’ Penis (The illustrator’s name is Keith, but I just want to see how many times I can say penis in this post before we get flagged), but after seeing the juxtaposition between the intricacy and simplicity in Penis’s works of art, I’ve been clamoring for some of his work to call my own. If you enjoy the illustrations in the post, make sure to Keith’s website right here, and grab some gear of your own.
Technology, science, art, and culture website The Verge have created a film giving us a unique look at the inner workings of Nuance Communications – the company responsible for creating Siri’s voice on iOS. The 10-minute documentary charts the history of voice synthesisation from its origins in cars like the Chrysler New Yorker in 1983 through to modern day use in products like TomTom and iPhone. We also hear from voiceover “talent” like Allison Dufty, who was first discovered while reading out the specials in a restaurant.

They recently recorded their full-length album at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland California. Anthony Jurado is a music-producer, guitarist, web-developer and graphic designer. Technology is the wave that’s sweeping up and coming artists into the spotlight now a days. I remember just a few years ago, Soulja Boy was a shining light among fledgling rappers for being signed off YouTube hits. But now a days, promoters, radio stations, magazines, label execs, and even DJ’s take a look at someone’s web stats when considering doing work with an artist. The web and all the devices interconnected to it are now the way to spread music through the world, and the creative force Adam Patton over at ‘Down With A.P.P.‘ is well aware of this. Luckily for me, Mr. Patton, one of the most talented people in digital media had the DJ Storm brand in mind when conceptualizing a creative iPhone application. Everything in the photos is purely at a concept stage, but you can read more at the BeHance.net page.
Every so often I’m fortunate enough to be presented with a great business opportunity that allows me to help others as well. I was introduced to Hendrix Studio’s by producer Clayton Williams, and have been obsessed with the facility ever since. Below is a video tour of the studio. If you’ve got any interest in getting any work laid down at Hendrix, don’t be afraid to hit me up.

Lots of folks tend to stick to one blog site. WordPress has served me well for over two years now, and with tens of thousands of views a week, its hard to see why anyone would feel the need to start posting on a different forum. But with the simplicity of Tumblr and its direct connection to my twitter (@YoungStark) I found a new way to put things up that wouldn’t necessarily work on this beloved WordPress. Single pictures without descriptions, and things of a more uh… far more raunchy nature than are found on this blog are easy for me to throw up onto Tumblr without upsetting any of my generous sponsors, or deviating from this sites general aesthetic. So if your interested in an entirely different side of things that I find interesting, feel free to follow me on Tumbrl as well.
I’m the type of person who wears shades only in hot weather. Oddly enough it can be brighter than Reese Witherspoon’s teeth outside, but if its cold, I just don’t feel the need to wear shades. But after peeping a collection of truly magnificent sun glasses that my good friend Andrew M. (a.k.a. Moodge) owns, I got interested in collecting. When I began my hunt for rare vintage sunglasses, I was a bit stumped on where to start my search. After weeks of scanning the web, I came across an ingenious solution that would have never crossed my mind in a million years… RareVintageSunglasses.com. They’re selection is remarkable, and although their prices reflect the rarity of the pieces they carry, they’re a good value if you have the cash for rare sunglasses market. Check out their site and some of their gear.
Every so often I (or someone on my team) come across an amazing woman, who fits the credentials to be put up on this blog. Some come from expected sources, and other just kind of float into my inbox, but when my assistant put me onto a site named “Me In My Place” I was quite astounded. The wonder of “Me In My Place” is summed up most perfectly by their own little quote “Real girls in their own place. Not too crazy and just a pinch of naughty….”. Xian Quon fits this description to the T. Her photos are simple yet provocative, and seem to draw the eye of everyone without needing to be overly explicit, or blatantly sexual. All I know about Xian personally is that she currently resides in L.A. But if you feel the unyielding need to hit her up directly, you can find Xian on Twitter.
Every artist in or out of the game has to have an outlet to publicize their music. For most right now that outlet is the over used, over saturated, easily manipulated myspace music. It’s just as easy to find a person with html knowledge to change the number of page views you have, and the number of daily plays as it is to pose as another artist, or steal their material. And even if an up-and-coming artist was legitimate, he has no way of telling who’s listening to his music and what their responses are to it. The music site Bandcamp.com aims to fix these issues, and has defiantly hit the bullseye. The site provides a clear-cut space to display your music with no limits as to how many songs your allowed. The artist or band can also get a very in-depth look at which songs their fans are listening to all the way through, partially listening to, or are skipping all together. The band has the ability to choose their own price for their song if they wish to charge, (with no money being profiteered by Bamdcamp), and can also see any and all links posted about their music from Bandcamp. This new site will soon become the blueprint by which many other music sites are built, trust me. I’m not just a spokesperson… I’m a member. The site is free, so check out http://www.bandcamp.com to set yours up, or refer a friend with an interest in their music being heard.
