Floating Sauna In Seattle

Floating-Sauna-in-Seattle-1

Architecture firm goCstudio is building a floating sauna later to debut later this year on Lake Washington, Seattle. The 8 x 8 foot sauna will be situated on a couple dozen 55-gallon flotation barrels held together by an aluminum frame, and there will be a small outdoor platform area for visitors to relax on. A diving board around back will let you plunge your heated body back into cold reality, and because it will probably be classified as a boat, the sauna will have to drop anchor at various times throughout the day.

Me In My Place – Caitlin

tumblr_l2vuz1M8Gr1qbmigqo1_1280

Hello Caitlin.  Originally from Seattle, she now resides in Brooklyn, NY.  Yes she is adorable and cute, and even better, she likes Mexican food and dive bars. Other favorites include little bridges tucked away in quiet corners of city parks and reading poetry-says it’s good for the brain…  Dislikes waking up early and talking on the telephone.  The site Me In My Place certainly knows how to pick them, and whenever my team finds a girl that doesn’t fit the usual mold of this blog, but is still quite appetizing, MIMP seems to do the trick.

Jump City Seattle.

I know I’ve already said that I’m a huge fan of parkour, (the watching it part, not the actual jumping off of buildings part), and just like in one of my previous posts on the topic, I found a place where other could find excellent examples of the art.  Oddly enough though, this isn’t some fan-run website, or any Parkour addict’s blog.  It’s G4’s new show Jump City: Seattle.  Now I’m not exactly sure of the premise of the show, but all I can infer so far is that there will lots of awesome free running displays, and that the show will probably do for parkour what ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ did for urban dance.  Check the method below.
