A series of projects Bryan Talkish worked on at Already Been Chewed for the Nixon and Star Wars collaboration Dark Side watch sets. It consisted of seven teaser videos and two trailers, each 15 to 60 seconds in length. They were broadcasted online in intervals over the course of four weeks. Below are finals, styleboards, and concept pitches.
NIKE has unveiled multiple innovations to its NIKE+ ecosystem; the NIKE+ fuelband SE – the newest version of the wearable exercise tracking device, which seamlessly connects users with a new cloud connected smartphone app – and the NIKE+ fuel lab, an evolution of its popular accelerator program. Originally launched in early 2012, the technology-packed bracelet tracks all day movement using ‘nikefuel’, a universal way to measure all kinds of activities—from a morning workout to a big night out. The system is designed to measure whole-body movement regardless of age, weight or gender – a built-in three-axis accelerometer detects motion all day long.
Steam-O by János Insperger is a modern cruiser that takes inspiration from the iconic steam locomotives of the past, applying the signature aerodynamic shape to its stark frame. In classic 1930s style, the bike sports a leather seat with spring suspension, an oversized headlight with chrome and bronze polish, and choo-choo style rims. The main feature, however, is a pushrod drivetrain like that of locomotives from the time. This unique power system and distinct attention to detail set it apart from other cruisers new and old. Pedaling torque is transmitted by bearing on shaft and coupling rods. Coupling rods move in a vertical motion as well as horizontally as the crank-arm rotates. The same shaft at the rear wheel receives the torque ration 1:1. To gain a useful travel speed it needs a small gearbox (about 1:6 ratio depending on the crank arm length and rear wheel size).
Pictures can represent anything the photographer wants it to, but pictures that capture motion tend to hold a special place with people. Photographer Asit has a dynamic and cheerful photo collection. Asit lives in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and used his surroundings to create the imaginative gallery you see now. Check the method.
Pin Pres is a kid’s room shelf that makes the act of sorting up the room a playful experience where the shelf adopts its form to the toys, books and other things that are being stored. Its the only shelf that will make your kid actually want to clean up and declutter the room. Pin Pres has won Josep Ros furniture design competition. Super sick.
Turns out watercolor paintings look even better when they’re in motion. This video was directed/hand-painted by Irina Dakeva of WIZZ. It’s comprised of around 2000 watercolor paintings drafted one after another.
