2 Chainz’s Trap-A-Velli Tre standout “Watch Out” now has an official music video, and it just might be in the running for best of the year. The hilarious clip features the head of the Atlanta rapper being plastered on various bodies, everything from a dancing boy to a couple guys playing basketball and more. As if the song wasn’t already popular enough, this undeniably entertaining visual should ensure that it stays in rotation for weeks and months to come.

Nissan 3E

Nissan has posted a teaser video for its 3E, a head-mounted internet-connected device that not only offers the wearer a heads-up display of current speed and navigation instructions while driving, but also monitors and reports on a car’s and the wearer’s vital signs. Nissan is being very coy about the device’s full suite of uses and applications but there are strong suggestions that as well as for internet access, the 3E could be used as a communications device and for streaming point of view videos and photos while driving. In September, Nissan took the tech world by surprise when it unveiled the Nismo Concept Watch at the Frankfurt motor show — a smartwatch concept with a driving focus and a device capable of monitoring health information — that of the car and of its driver. The company revealed that the watch — which records and reports on energy efficiency, fuel consumption and average speeds when the car is being used normally and on telematics and performance data when a car is lapping a race track — was simply a first step into the field of wearable technology and that more was to come. However, we’ll have to wait until the Tokyo motor show gets underway, on November 20 to find out all of the 3E’s capabilities.

Count Antonio’s Favorite Stallion – Punto

Check out Nic Fiddian-Green’s heart-stopping sculpture at Castello Di Reschio in Umbria, Italy. Fiddian-Green was at Reschio, working on a commission for the owner, Count Antonio Bolza. And, of course, the subject matter of his massive sculpture was the horse, in this case Count Antonio’s favorite stallion, Punto, born and bred at Reschio.

Ever since he saw a fifth-century B.C. carving of the head of a horse of Selene from the Parthenon at the British Museum he has worked at perfecting the form of the horse’s head, as well as mastering the ancient ‘lost wax’ technique. He works in clay, plaster, beaten lead and marble, and he oversees the casting into bronze himself. Fiddian-Green’s colossal, classically inspired equine heads are exhibited around the world in prominent locations, including ‘Still water ‘, the 30-foot head of a drinking horse right next to the Marble Arch in London.

DJ Storm ft. Lil Wayne, Cam’ron, GOV, Lil Kim & Three 6 Mafia – ‘Hott Sauce’.

Weather many folks are familiar with “The Mix Up” or not, it remains one of my favorite collections of music ever. (And I SWEAR it’s not just because I made it). The “album” consists of just under a dozen tracks that are comprised of main stream rap lyrics blended with more classic/underground hip hop beats and sprinkled with tons of samples from popular culture. The premise and subject matter of each song is different and each song has it’s own particular flavor, but my favorite track to this day is “Hott Sauce”. I have a bit of a fascination/addiction to the little physical act described in the song, and listening to it makes me laugh every single time. With lyrics from Lil Wayne, GOV, Cam’ron, Three 6 Mafia and Lil Kim, “Hott Sauce” is not one to play in front of your parents, but I’m sure you’ll enjoy it none the less.  Click the pic to listen.

The Skull Nickles.

The term “Hobo Nickel” describes any small-denomination coin (though, normally soft nickels) that people carve to create miniature reliefs of…well, all sorts of things. It started sometime in the 18th century but continues to this day; There’s even an entire society dedicated to the art of nickel carving…  This all sounds stimulating, I know, but have a little faith. As with all types of art, something that seems simple in explanation is made beautiful and complicated in the hands of right artists. Check out a few of these “Skull Nickels“, a very surface view of just what carvers do with these “Hobo Nickels“.

Is Your Child Teething?

Yesterday was father’s day, and I spent the day talking to a few of my friends lucky enough to be proud parents.  One of the complaints I heard from a homegirl of mine was that her son was being an “asshole-ish version of Satan himself” because his adult teeth were growing in.  I don’t remember all of what it was like going through the process (cept for realizing the tooth fairy was my mom noisily shoving a dollar under my pillow every other month while she thought I was asleep), but coincidentally I came across a scientific art piece that helped me shed some light on her predicament.  Below is a REAL skull of a human child with their adult teeth growing in.  Seeing it made me understand that sometimes kids go through things I’m happy I don’t have to.  So if you have a little one who’s adult teeth are coming in, cut them some slack.  It can be a painful process.

If that was my face, I'd be cranky too.
