Old Spice has been coming up with some pretty good ads for the last few years now. From Terry Crews, to ‘The Man Your Man Could Smell Like’, if nothing else, Old Spice ads are quite memorable. For they’re newest two fragrances they’re come up with some new, but equally ridiculous commercials which fans of their older ads are sure to love. Check the method below.
With the amount of talent coming out of my home town of South Plainfield, NJ now a days, it’s hard to keep up with everyone who’s doing their thing. But I caught wind of the “Austrian Crystals” Model Contest recently, and wasn’t surprised that the clear winner was from S.P. In my mind, there are primarily two types of serious video gamers out there… The ones who play games because they perform some of those actions in real life (football players that play Madden, ball players who play NBA Live, marines who play Call Of Duty, etc.) and then there are the type of gamers who play games because they imagine one day they’d have the skills to perform some actions in real life. However, there does come the rare occasion when gamers who have no real life training in something play game long enough, and for so well, that they actually become capable of pulling off some of their digital tricks in real life. Coincidentally Nissan recognized this with a few champions of Grand Turismo 5. The game is so life like, the cars so well tuned, and the mechanics so close to the real thing, they’ve chosen a select few to compete in REAL cars for a spot on the professional Nissan racing team. Check the method below.
Among the hundreds of lots on offer at Christie’s September wine auction in Hong Kong this month, there’s one in particular that will appeal to more than just wine lovers. The winning bid for Lot No. 519 will receive a lunch date with Scarlett Johansson and six bottles of 100-year-old Moët et Chandon champagne packed in a special Louis Vuitton leather chest. The lot is estimated to be worth 380,000 to 500,000 Hong Kong dollars (US$48,700 to $64,100). The proceeds of the sale will go to the Nature Conservancy in China. Christie’s said that the idea behind the charity lot came from Moët et Chandon itself, which currently retains Ms. Johansson as a celebrity endorser.
No matter what industry you work in, if you have a job, you have an appreciation for money, but for some people having it is just as good as looking at it. The visual esthetic of the $100 bill hasn’t changed too drastically in the last 20 years, but recently a collection sprouted of reinventions of the bill with Mr. Franklin’s face. There were some whimsical additions to the collection (like the one above) but I tried to focus on the cooler/more practical ones. Check the method below.
