‘The Suicide Squad’ Bloopers Are Here.

The Suicide Squad won’t hit DVD and Blu-ray until October 26, but James Gunn’s bonkers DC Comics requel is now available to purchase on Digital formats, and Warner Bros. has marked the occasion by sharing an official gag-reel for the movie online. There are some very funny moments here, including Flula Borg improving his lines and hijacking the helicopter scene as Javelin, Idris Elba inadvertently hitting David Dastmalchian in the family jewels when he tosses him a gun, John Cena reclaiming Frodo’s lost finger (and then sucking it), and more.

We also get a brief look at one of the film’s deleted scenes, as Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchior) finds a distraught Polka-Dot Man (Dastmalchian) in the back of the van. This is most likely the sequence we heard about involving Abner and The Thinker (Peter Capaldi) outside the nightclub which results in the latter losing his earlobe.  The Suicide Squad may have underperformed at the box office, but the movie now has a chance to make a big impact on home release. Do you plan on picking up a copy on Blu-ray when it hits next month?

Black Bush Re-Visited.

There aren’t too many people raised in my generation who weren’t familiar with the epic genius of the Chappelle Show.  If there are those who are unfamiliar with the show, there’s not a doubt in my mind that they’ve heard the words “I’m RICK JAMES B*TCH” at least once.  The show and its comedy were both unforgettable and edgy to the point where every episode in the show’s second season was a hit in its own way.  One of my favorite sketches was the “Black Bush” sketch, where Dave Chappelle illustrated (quite well) how a less cunning George W. Bush may have appeared to the general public.  The original sketch can be seen here or by clicking the picture above.

Here however, are some bits and pieces that were left out of the Black Bush sketch.  For anyone who’s filmed anything scripted before, you know as well as I do, that some of the best moments come from things off script.  The outtakes from Chappelle’s ‘Black Bush’ sketch are no exception.  Check the method to relive this hilarious sketch from 2004.

Now This Is A Story All About How…

Whenever I have a stressful week, I like to watch something funny to relax while I’m working.  Either stand up comedy (shout outs to Jo Koy, and Sergio Chicon) or Fresh Prince normally does the trick, but this weekend, I had to stay in and work on some new material at home Friday night, and caught a Fresh Prince marathon. After seeing the bloopers the end of every episode, I had to post some of the funniest ones.  I’m not responsible for making the video, but most of the good ones on there.  Click the pic to watch.
