Pitbull “Welcome 2 Dade County”

Miami based rapper Pitbull decides to let loose on Lil Wayne after the YMCMB rapper took shots at his home town. Although he was one the rappers we least expected to return shots, Pitbull is taking shots at Weezy on his latest remix to “Harlem Shake” in a track he called ‘Welcome 2 Dade County.’  “I’m self-made, I’m self-paid / I grew up with no daddy, I’m from Miami-Dade,” Pitbull spits on the track. “It’s a deposition / Watch what you speak / Who’s the definition of Miami?  Me / I move cultures, don’t believe me? / Watch and see.”

This isn’t only time Pitbull mentions Cash Money on the track either. The rapper also opens up about Cash Money co-founders Birdman and Slim, alluding to them being the ones making money off of Wayne’s success. “You got money, yeah that’s sweet / But we all know Slim and Baby really eat / You talk Miami, yes you talkin’ Heat / Moral of the story, don’t shit where you eat.”

YMCMB’s King Of Diamonds Take Over/Memorial Day Weekend. (EXPLICIT).

King Of Diamonds can certainly be a relaxing spot for those who work hard non stop.  And no one seems to be working harder these days than Lil Wayne and the YMCMB crew.  Take a look at how they relaxed on Memorial Day 2012.  (And be WARNED, the video is uncensored).

As if all that wasn’t enough, check out some of the Memorial Day shows in Miami featuring Funk Master Flex, Ace Hood, 2 Chainz, Fat Joe, and many more.

Birdman & DJ Khaled Talk New YMCMB Business.

The YMCMB crew has been putting brick on top of brick onto the castle in their music empire for quite some time now.  But every so often people will hear certain rumors, like that they signed Fred Durst, or that every 6 months they look at a new batch of recruits, or whatever else the web has spit out recently.  But the one thing I like to wait for is hearing the facts right from the lion’s mouth.  In the video below, DJ Khaled, and the originator of Cash Money, Birdman get together to discuss some new business in the YMCMB community.  Check the method.

For those die-hard Young Money fans that want a listen of the new single “Take It To The Head” that you heard in the video, take a listen to it below.

Birdman’s Birthday Party At Liv.

I’ve posted quite a few videos about the comings and goings of YMCMB, and I’ve been asked quite a bit about why that is.  It’s not because the YMCMB crew is one of the biggest names in music, but because it just seems that when they party, they do it bigger than anyone else right now, and I just enjoy watching them.  Check out Birdman’s birthday party at Liv in Miami.

YMCMB In Hawaii.

It’s no surprise to anyone that Birdman and the YMCMB crew do it big.  But this 12 minute docu-film about a recent trip to the U.S.’s 50th state was still quite interesting to watch.  Check the method below.

YMCMB Take L.A. (VMA’s And Lil Wayne’s C4 Release Party)

There’s no doubt that YMCMB has been doing it big for a few years.  But when the entire group descended on Los Angeles, for the Video Music Awards, and Lil Wayne’s record release party, things got a little crazy.  Check the method below.

Jay-Z Tops Another Forbes List.

Jay-Z tops this year’s Forbes Hip-Hop cash Kings list with $37 million this past year, a little but more than Diddy ($35 million).  ‘Hip-hop’s reigning Cash King continues to reap the benefits of a 10-year $150 million Live Nation deal, as well as stakes in the New Jersey Nets, the 40/40 Club chain, ad firm Translation and others. This year marked the first time he out-earned wife Beyonce since their marriage in 2008. But for more on the business of hip-hop, check out Empire State of Mind: ‘How Jay-Z Went From Street Corner to Corner Office.’ a sick documentary.

‘Welcome To My Hood’ – Official Remix Video.

During the Lil Wayne ‘I Am Still Music’ concert I attended on Easter, Weezy stopped the show and told the crowd to throw their hands up if they were raised in the hood, and I had to keep it real, be honest, and keep quiet… until my assistant started screaming, (at which point I had to break my silence tell her to shut up, because she wasn’t raised in the hood either).  But regardless of my upbringing, I still thoroughly enjoy DJ Khaled’s song ‘Welcome To My Hood”, and hearing his fully loaded remix is dope, but the video is even doper, check the method below.

Birdman ft. Lil Wayne – Fire Flame (Remix) Behind The Scenes.

Click the pic to watch the video.

Recently I got a glimpse of the making of the “Fire Flame (Remix)” music video, produced by Derick G.  (The behinds the scenes footage was Derick, not the entire music video).  The footage catches Wayne and Birdman in Wayne’s first music video shot since his release from jail, and shows the extravagant new set, which Mack Maine describes as a “sequel to the movie” which was the original.  DJ Khaled and a few others are scattered around in the footage, revealing some pretty dope cameos which I can’t wait to see in the finished product.

Birdman – Fire Flame (Offical Video)

I’ve always been a fan of YMCMB, and weather people know it or not I’m bit more of a fan of Birdman than I am of his ‘son’.  So when I heard the song Fire Flame a while back, I was always curious as to what the video would look like.  So here it is, check the method below… and remember that this is what happens when some hood-folk get money. lol.
