This project was done using Linocut print technique and is adapted from a verse of poetry by the poet Muzaffar al-Nawab, “Even birds have homelands.” That’s the short of it. The LONG of it is that this is a fantastic collection of avian artworks by Omar Almasri that just speaks to the soul in the same way “I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings” does.
