We can’t call it a comeback, but what we can call this video is crazy unique. ‘Little Foot, Big Foot’ seems to signal a return to the classic Michael Jackson-esque style of videos that was an entire story or “vision” condensed into 6 or 7 minutes. Gambino’s latest gamble is also a bit like two videos in one, with two different beats and two TOTALLY different styles. One strange bit of the narrative, (and you can find it easily if you see WHEN most replayed part on YouTube is) when a random act of violence occurs.
‘Little Foot Big Foot’ is unique yet ubiquitous in its style, and for sure seems to sum up and surpass some of the simpler style of rap videos out there these days.
