Please don’t mind the title of the post, it’s the title of the ‘bio-pic’. (This is nothing to do with race). “Back To Black” is the name of a song by Amy Winehouse as well as the film telling the story on this amazingly unique singer. If you love her music, think a movie about her to be too soon, confused by her look, the ONE thing no one can deny her of was her ability to sing. (Speaking of singers, thanks to @CaityCostaMusic for sharing this one). But ‘StudioCanal’ got real British actors (which for some reason is a rarity these days) to shed some light on the background of her rise to success, and possible what landed her in the “27 club“. The producers did get a good look alike, (who we assume has a formidable resumé) but seems to fit the role perfectly. Included in the trailer are some nice remixes that paint the picture of how prolific her tunes were, and recognizable they still are. But check out the trailer below.
