We Just Googled When Googles Birthday Is…

Turns out, the O.G. (Original Google) is now an old G. For 25 years now we’ve been able to simplify our searching by going to one site. With an arsenal of 24 subsidiaries, including Android, Fitbit, and Waze to name a few, the big G currently has a net worth sitting upwards of 1.6 TRILLION U.S. dollars. The company reaches every country on earth. (We tried to look up every country that uses Google, and it might have well just said “all of them… idiots.) Having a yearly revenue of 279.8 Billion, the shares are roughly $132 each. Google has changed the way that people gather and gain information on LITERALLY any topic you can think of. The format of “Boolean Logic” has always given Goggle the ability to simplify the way individuals search. You can just type in “how do big toes work” instead of “Definite function of hallux extremity”… Besides becoming a staple in the modern English vocabulary, Google may not be without its critics, however it has helped the world gain access to any relevant information it is ever in need of. Some accusations of a creepy version of “Big Brother”, or distributing mis-information may be somewhat true, most people think it serves a posititive position in the case of bringing knowledge to people. And if you don’t get that “Big Brother” reference then Google it… As for now, Happy Birthday Google.
