“Alexander Zhidkov and his fantastical square swamp cot”… That was the original title of the post when only the photo above was delivered to us. Now that we’ve seen the entire kit, this residence is far more than just a brick in the bushes. The mossy ponds out front are made exponentially more elegant by their shape and positioning, not to mention their scale compared to the couches pictures inside. The “modern pond” is one of the highlights of the residence. The fact that this home is far away from any other prying is made quite clear by the fact that the walls are, well, quite clear, and the open air garage just compliments the entire entry. The Birch Grove residence and the work of Alexander Zhidkov are not soon to be forgotten.
