Warners has rolled out the… oddly colored carpet (we would say red, but honestly who don’t know what color anything’s supposed to be anymore) on the newest Godzilla and Kong collaboration. From ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ to ‘Godzilla x Kong’ we suppose they had to find a different moniker for the team up. It seems as though this version of Earth continues to get stranger and stranger… hopefully for the better. With the unexpected introduction of Mecha-Godzilla (or “robot-godziller” by most children), they seemed to need to find a way to up the anti a bit. Check out the newest trailer and let your thoughts be heard. Is this one a winner or a future flop?
As there is no true arbiter of which is more strange… the baby Kong, or Godzillas new pink flame, we just hope the film continues to the tradition of making the franchise stranger and slightly more interesting each time it comes back around to screens.
Alas! The new trailer is not the only new want monster content on the horizon. The ‘Godzilla x Kong’ chronicles continue in the form of “The Hunted” comic. Not too many know exactly what it entails quite yet, but it can be assumed that the conflict has ceased between the two titans, and their might and strength will be directed toward some other nemesis. As interesting of a read as this appears, it was also document the titans that were briefly shown, but not explained during ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ finale, NOR the entire Godzilla television show on Apple TV+.
