(In)visible furniture

Visible/Invisible Furniture by Takeshi Miyakawa

Shown at Salon 94 during New York Design Week 2013. After assembly, these pieces have been bent and distorted by heat creating an interesting wrinkle like texture. Due to their mirror finish, they dissolve into their surroundings depending on which angle you view, creating a partially invisible effect. Materials: mirror finished acrylic
