The streets of San Francisco are safe once again thanks to a duo of masked heroes. When legendary superhero Batman couldn’t save the day all on his own today, he enlisted the help of Batkid, a miniature version of the Dark Knight, himself. What he lacked in stature, he made up for in heart, as the young hero brought peace back to the city after the villainous Riddler took the city, and one woman, hostage. Batman and Batkid swooped in to untie the damsel in distress, disarming the bomb she was attached to. The real question remains, who is Batkid? Rumors have it, Batkid’s true identity is 5-year-old Miles Scott, whose real life is even more inspiring than that of Batkid. Miles has been battling leukemia since he was 18 months old, and is finally in remission. City of San Francisco and Make-A-Wish did an amazing thing for making this incredible day possible.
