The reason behind the mystery is simple. When we were first given a look at this teaser trailer for the next Disney/Pixar film, everyone on the team was a bit confused. And hopefully we’re able to get this out fast enough so that most of the readers are taken by surprise as well. The photo above is the only hint that we can give, but these two men have given rise to one of the most popular characters of all time, that is now coming back to film in a way that no one on planet earth has expected. So please, we hope that you will be as stunned as delighted as we were at what Disney/Pixar has in store for the summer of 2022.
Sony Pictures has released the official teaser trailer for Venom, and it really is a true teaser as we don’t actually get to see the titular antihero in all his glory. Instead, we’re greeted with a variety of action beats featuring Academy Award-nominated star Tom Hardy battling the demon from within. The footage also provides us with our first official looks at 4x Academy Award-nominee Michelle Williams, Primetime Emmy-winner Riz Ahmed, and several others, but we still don’t have an real idea as to who they’re playing.
Earlier today, we got the unexpected arrival of the first trailer for Deadpool 2. Now, an official website has been launched which seemong reveals that the sequel’s title is actually The Untitled Deadpool Sequel. Of course, it’s possible that this is just how it’s being referred to by the studio until the actual name of the movie is revealed but the way it’s being used here indicates otherwise. Bear in mind that previous material for the movie has also referred to it as Deadpool 2 and The Untitled Deadpool Sequel is the sort of weird, meta title you would expect a quirly release like this to have. I guess we’ll have to wait and see but talking of weird stuff, how about a new synopsis that reveals some fresh details about the movie? Er, yeah, this one probably isn’t what you’re hoping for then.

Rihanna’s “Work” video has finally arrived. The wait was refreshingly short for the newfound queen of anticipation, who’s back with the full release after teasing a clip to Twitter Friday. “Work,” featuring Drake, is the the first single from her long-awaitedAnti, which officially debuted on Tidal Jan. 28 after months of delays. In the first half of the video, directed by Director X, Rihanna “works” her hips as hard as her vocals, grinding on the rapper amidst a dimly lit party. But when the party ends, another video starts. The second half, helmed by Tim Erem, features just Rihanna and Drake in a pink-lit room. Check the method below.
During my brief time working with Sony, I’ve had to marvelous opportunity to see some of the best work put out under their umbrella. My closer friends know my particular connection with this movie, but now that it’s been officially released, I’m proud to present the first teaser trailer for Spectre… the 24th adventure in the James Bond series.
For those out there who may not be die-hard comic book fans, the 2005 and 2007 incarnations of Marvel’s original super hero team, are what they’re most familiar with. The older movies stayed quite true to the comics, and were received differently by many, but stay in the mind of many as “the way things should be”. So when a reboot of the Fantastic Four was announced, the first pill for people to swallow was the inclusion of Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm. That uproar was followed swiftly by people questioning the age of the rest of the cast, and the “new tone” of the film. Director Josh Trank boldly advertised a more “sci-fi” tone than that of a traditional super hero film, and the look of the first trailer definitely feels like the 2014 Godzilla flick, (which the 2005 Fantastic 4 film was more like the 1998 Godzilla). But all that “different” left people quite curious, and now we have some answers. Check the teaser below, and let us know what you think.
Simply put, this iteration of the super hero team is based on the ‘Ultimate Fantastic Four’, as apposed to the Earth-616 continuity. (I’ll explain what that means for the non-nerds). In the mid 2000’s Marvel decided to reboot many of their famous characters, (Spiderman, The X-Men, Fantastic Four etc.) much the way Hollywood has been rebooting movies faster than a crashed PC. In the ‘Ultimate’ version of Fantastic Four, the character are child prodigies, and are recruited by the government in exchange for funding their work. Their powers, abilities and back stories are a bit different from the “regular” versions that exist in what Marvel calls “Earth 616”, so when the movies were to be re-booted, Trank and crew just used the source material from the re-booted Marvel universe.
In the ‘Ultimate’ universe Reed is a child genius who displayed his curiosity from the day he was born. At the age of 11, following a demonstration of his research on the field of teleportation at a school science fair, Reed was recruited for a government program which sponsors young geniuses’ research. He continued his research at the government research facility located in Manhattan’s Baxter Building. At the age of 21 his research was realized as he and several others attempted to teleport organic material through an alternate plane of existence called the N-Zone. The experiment went awry giving Reed and several others super powers. His powers enable him to stretch his body parts to incredible lengths and endow him with enhanced durability.
Gifted physically as a youth, Ben Grimm is Reed’s best “and only” friend. When they were in school together, Ben would protect Reed from various bullies, including ones “three years younger”, and in exchange Reed would help Ben with his math homework. Ben moved on to college and was invited to watch Reed’s teleportation experiment. Grimm woke up as the Thing in Mexico City. The teleportation through the N-Zone gave him an orange rocky hide which boosts his strength and makes him nigh-invulnerable to physical damage and physiologically stressful conditions (such as a toxic breathing environment), and he no longer feels differences in temperature. However, despite Ben’s seeming happy-go-lucky disposition, the transformation has caused deep psychological trauma.
The eldest child of renowned scientist Franklin Storm, Sue Storm inherited her father’s genius at an early age. Since early childhood, she has been one of the prodigies studying and working at the Baxter Building, a midtown Manhattan government research lab. Following her father into physics, at age eight she built a sugar-power rocket and accidentally destroyed her father’s car, after which she changed her focus to “inner space” biology. After attending the Nevada desert testing of Reed’s N-Zone dimensional teleporter, and being transformed, she made the study of herself and her three partners her new life’s work. Sue spent months investigating their abilities and charting their powers while improving her own understanding of herself. She has deduced the nature of both Reed and Johnny’s changes, though her own powers remain unexplained and she is unable to penetrate Ben’s skin to determine any more detail than his internal fluid pressure. Sue continues to develop her control of her force fields, using them to create pressurized environments at the bottom of the sea, plugging her own throat to prevent swallowing poison gas, and creating “cushions” to catch falling people and objects. Damage to her force fields also causes her mental strain or, in extreme cases, to black out.
Susan Storm’s younger brother is a short-tempered teen, who is enamored with good-looking girls and has a rock-star attitude. Also a high school drop out, the obvious “cool factor” of his powers only serves to heighten these personality traits: Johnny’s powers engulf him in flames that enable him to fly and shoot fiery projectiles. This power sometimes has detrimental effects on his body, as Johnny burns, (or more accurately fuses), his own body-fat to provide his ‘fuel’, and every so often, he “hibernates” and sheds off the skin cells that protect him from his own flames, growing new ones. Regardless, he finds the idea of being a real superhero incredibly exciting and firmly intends to sign up with The Ultimates once he is old enough, rather than continue hanging around the Baxter Building with the “nerds and geeks”.
No one in the public knows exactly how much of the source material above will be portrayed in the new movie, nor do we know the relationship between Sue and Johnny since they’re obviously not biologically siblings. But all that said, take another look at the trailer, and all the “inconsistencies” people have been griping about should at least have a little more meaning.
Although it was supposed to premiere during next week’s new episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Marvel Studios has gone ahead and officially released the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer following an online leak. “Dammit, Hydra,” Marvel tweeted in response to the rapid spread of the leaked trailer. Thankfully, you can now check out a wholly official version in the player below along with an all-new teaser poster.

Snoop Dogg is venturing into new territory as a rapper, with the announcement of his very own video game. As the veteran emcee continues to reinvent himself, starting with his name and his music, he’s also been busy with a new business venture, the “Way of the Dogg” video game. A teaser for the new game was released today, and shows Snoop in the creation process of the game. The game was created with UK based video game publisher 505 Games and video game developer Echo Peak. “Way of the Dogg” is described as a “rhythm-action combat game,” and will be available for PlayStation, Android, Xbox, iTunes.
Captain James T. Kirk is under character trial in the second official teaser trailer for “Star Trek Into Darkness,” following the annoucement trailer that was released a couple of weeks ago. (Also if you want to check out a longer preview of the movie, go check out the Hobit, in IMAX to get a nine minute preview of Star Trek). That earlier look at one of next summer’s most anticipated extravaganzas emphasized the mass destruction and supreme villainy of Benedict Cumberbatch that will be on display in J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” sequel, perhaps coming across more as an explosion-heavy sci-fi action film than, say, a “Star Trek” movie. The new teaser, however, takes us on board the Enterprise, re-acquainting us with the very concerned-looking crew members … and hearing, in the form of a melancholy voiceover by Bruce Greenwood (as Federation Admiral Christopher Pike), a bit of criticism toward the hot-headed captain of the ship. Check it out below by clicking on the pic to see trailers.
A video trailer that is titled after Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “Watch the Throne” track “Made in America” hits the web. The teaser features black-and-white footage showing a large number of people throwing their hands in the air at a live concert.
Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter IV” was without a doubt a very interesting record. Weather you purchased the extended CD, downloaded the original, or just heard most of the tracks on the radio, everyone has their favorites. The track Mirror featuring Bruno Mars was quite a heartfelt entry onto the album, and with the video dropping soon, its no surprise that the label released a teaser. Check the method below.
Once upon a time, I knew I wanted to start about blog that revolved around the things and experiences I found interesting, and sharing those things with the world. The blog had no real format, or direction, but when it came to interesting things, I knew the HBO show Entourage was number one on the list. (The very first post EVER on this blog was about Entourage on DVD.) So its only logical that as the show is coming to an end, that I post up whatever new info I can find about it. The final season debuts on July 24th, and the teaser for it dropped recently on HBO. It’s a simple look, and the music (‘High For This‘ by The Weeknd) makes everything a bit somber. I have to admit, I even got a little sad the first time I saw it. But check the teaser below.
A lot went down over this past weekend, (which is partly why the blog hasn’t been getting the attention it usually does) some good, some great, but all of it business. There were tons of conversations had, but one conversation that wasn’t work related stood out a bit. I was at my crib relaxing with a group of people when Megan Fox came up, and when someone said Megan Fox had lost too much weight to get work, I got curious. What I found out was that Armani recently booked her to do an underwear ad campaign.. and she still looks just as fine as ever. Check the method below.
With the announcement of the ‘new Dark Knight Rises villains‘, I’ve been on the prowl for new news related to the new happenings of Bruce Wayne. Unfortunately nothing new about the 3rd Chris Nolan installment came up, but what I did find was a rather extraordinary collection of illustrations related to the Batman himself. Many different artists produced many different imaginings of the Dark One, but the subject is the only thing these pieces have in common. Each illustration is extremely unique in every way, from the costume, to the generation of “Batman” to the style and medium that the piece was created in. So for those of you who enjoy everything Bruce Wayne (Reggie)… Feast your eyes on this collection.
I got my first glimpse of the “Avengers” teaser, which is much to my dismay, didn’t really show sh*t. It’s very reminiscent of the first “Dark Knight” teaser that just showed the Batman logo in flames, and sound clips from the film. I would have said that the trailer was a hoax if it wasn’t the mighty Samuel L. Jackson himself narrating. But take a look, its nothing too revealing, but it does put a warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach.
