Swizz Beatz drops the official music video “Street Knock”. The “Street Knock” video features flashy vehicles created by Lotus, clothing by Reebok and dope rhymes from ASAP Rocky over brilliant production by the super talented Araab Muzik. Appearances by Jadakiss, Drag-On, Allen Iverson and others. Directed by Taj_Tpk.
In this studio clip below, Swizz Beatz previews a track titled “Skyscrapers”, which he revealed featured Kanye West and U2′s Bono.
There aren’t too many songs that I hear, and want to keep to myself, but the “Everyday Coolin” remix is one of those tracks that I’d love to just keep on repeat in my iPhone and be the first to show anyone I chill with. But I have a responsibility to put out any and all dope music I hear that hasn’t already over saturated the airwaves, so without further delay, I highly suggest you click the pic to check out “Everyday Coolin” by Swizz Beatz featuring Cassidy, and Jag.
Recently I got a listen of Dr. Dre’s newest single “Chillin” off his much anticipated ‘Detox’ album, produced by Swizz Beatz, and I was quite impressed. Its a departure from the regular impression of what you think a Dre track would sound like, but I got an entirely new respect for it when I saw the crowd response at Colony Nightclub. Check the video below.
Yes, that’s right. For all those 80’s babies out there, take a second to soak it in. DMX is trying to make his way back on the rap scene. (I know you just smiled a little bit Lisa.) For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Dog, he’s endured countless trials and tribulations, not knowing how to act in public, and an arrest record longer than most rappers since 2003… But recently he’s hooked back up with long time partner/producer Swizz Beatz to bring out “Time To Get Paid” among a few other tracks leaked on the web. The beat for “Time To Get Paid” features a classic B.I.G. sample, and some sultry organ work on the part of Swizzy. The beat itself is a bit different than I’m accustomed to hearing from Swizz, but it works well for the content of the song. There are a few moments in the track that kind of confuse me, like what seems like a bridge after a chorus that sounds like it was recorded over the phone, and the only version available is edited, so half the song is in audible, BUT, all that being said, I still think the song was well constructed, and it’s already on my iPhone for repeated listening. Everyone loves an artist who knows how to have fun, and Maino has proved it again, on his latest release “We Keep it Rockin”. The song showcases a crazy New York line up featuring Swizz Beatz, Jim Jones, Joell Ortiz, and Jadakiss spitting over a re-imagining of Tupac’s ‘California Love’. Click the pic to take a listen.
Lloyd Banks is back with his banger “Start It Up”. Many times I’ll get a hold of a brand new track, and even if its by some of the best in the game, its always a gamble or a waiting game to see if the track will be a club hit whether I blast it in my set or not. But “Start It Up” I’m willing to bet my bottom dollar is going to blow up, the beat is the perfect mix between synth and 808, and everyone comes spittin correctly on their respective verses. Listen out for Kanye’s verse, (which in my personal opinion was the greatest) with lines like “Beauty is why God invented eyeballs, and a booty is why God invented MY balls”. As many may know, I do go by the nickanme Tony Stark, or Young Stark, but this collab has nothing to do with me. Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz have come together to create the track “Ironman”. Above is a video preview of the track featuring some clips from the up and coming movie Ironman 2. It hassn’t be stated yet weather the song will make the soundtrack, but listen for yourself. It sounds like it’ll be as popular as the movie.
