The Electric Rolls-Royce Phantom 102EX.

Luxury car maker Rolls-Royce has developed its first electric-powered vehicle, that goes up to 125 miles fully charged.  The one-off Phantom 102EX has been touring the globe to gauge the reactions of Rolls-Royce owners and potential customers to a fully electric-powered car.  The 6.75-liter V-12 was replaced by a massive 71-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery housed within the aluminum spaceframe.

“We have engineered the world’s first battery electric vehicle for the ultra-luxury segment,” chief executive Torsten Muller-Otvos said in a statement.  “We begin an exploration into alternative drive-trains, seeking clarity on which alternative technologies may be suitable to drive Rolls-Royce cars of the future.”  The company wants to ascertain how long the car can drive between re-charges and how it operates in extreme weather conditions, but there are no plans yet to develop a production version.

“I must be convinced that any alternative drive-train we choose for the future delivers an authentic Rolls-Royce experience,” Muller-Otvos said.  “It must be a technology that is right for our customers, our brand and which sets us on a sound footing for a sustainable future.”

Tony Stark’s House Is On The Market.

Remember that luxury mansion that Tony Stark used in the Iron Man film series? Well it turns out that it’s just been put up for sale for a whopping $25 million. The 11,000 square feet luxury mansion comes with 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and private access to Black’s Beach. As you can see from the photos, you get an amazing view and some incredible architecture for your money.  Too bad it doesn’t come with it’s own Iron Man armor for the weekends. Luckily I’ve already got my own Pepper Potts.

Team ISO.

Being from Jersey, I have a bad habit of being stuck in my ways, be it the way I speak, the music I’m a fan of, or the clothes I wear. But when I became familiar with a clothing company by the name of Team ISO, I knew it didn’t matter where your from or what you rep, their brand is bent to be a classic. Team ISO is a street wear clothing brand aimed at any individual who feels they are standing up in a room full of people sitting down. ISO is short for ISOlated and an acronym for I Stand Out. ISO is all about fitting in where you stand out. Let that inner individual shine, ISO’s goal is to help you feel different and ISOlated. New fashion at its future peak. Check the method below, a new batch of Team ISO clothing will be available soon at http://teamiso.bigcartel.com

The Lambo Sesto Elemento Concept For Sale.

The Sesto Elemento concept was envisioned as a design study, previewing the styling we might expect to see on the next generation of Lamborghini supercars.  But shortly after it was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, reports began to emerge suggesting that the Italian automaker could put it into production, however limited.  You could wait several years for the high-tech supercar to go into production – or you could order one on JamesList right now for €1.85 million.  The name Sesto Elemento stands for the sixth element in the periodic table, i.e. carbon, and references Lambo’s mastery of carbon fibre technology.

20 Luxury Hot Spots

Saota Magazine released a list of 50 homes around the world that would make people consider early retirement.  I unfortunately am nowhere near retirement, so when I see these properties all I see is a potential spot to rent out on a trip.  Some of the places highlighted on the Saota list are a bit too… not my style, so below I present my favorite 20 photos of these ridiculously stunning hilltop havens of architectural bliss.

Clock Tower Penthouse Up For Grabs.

I’m not too keen into real estate, but for some odd reason (probably due to some of the homes I post on up on this Blog), some of my friends keep asking me to help them on their high-budget house hunts.  During one of my recent procrastination sessions both my assistant and I came across this.  The New York Times took a look inside the triplex penthouse of Brooklyn’s ClockTower Building — where the most striking features are the four 14′ clocks housed in gigantic round windows. The ‘DUMBO’ building was built by a cardboard box manufacturer and renovated by ‘DUMBO’ developer David Walentas. The approximately 6,400 square foot apartment is on the market for $25 million — “more than double the highest price known to have been paid for a home in Brooklyn.” In addition to the clocks and amazing views, the triplex features 16 foot ceilings on the main level and central glass elevator and floating staircase.  I’d never be late for work again.
