Just Blaze – “Rhythm Roulette” From The Sprite Corner

Fans of music production know Just Blaze for his numerous accolades and contributions to various genres. However, we bet they didn’t know Just can create album-worthy joints on the fly. After listening through three randomly selected records and deciding only one of them was good enough to use, Just began to create a soulful and hard-hitting beat with sped-up choir vocals weaving in and out of the track. In the end, he thought the beat sounded so good he wanted to dip from The Sprite Corner to finish it up at his studio.

You’ll Never Guess Where Just Blaze’s Newest DJ Set Was Played.

The answer… A sushi restaurant.  Sounds fishy to you? Well, thanks to a revolutionary Sushi-go-round in Japan, and an experimental sounds system that can detect colored sushi plates and play a specific sound, you CAN technically make music with sushi. Still wonder how? Watch Just Blaze give some Japanese locals a fish-fueled DJ set with the revolutionary system.

The latest addition to the Serato Icon Artist Series is Just Blaze. Just Blaze is an artist who evolves. He has seamlessly blended his career as one of Hip Hop’s most influential producers with his ongoing career as a DJ, which in 2014, is stronger than ever. His ability to adapt and his hunger to experience and take advantage of what’s new, have kept Just Blaze at the cutting edge of music.

Rick Ross – I Love B*tches.

Ricky Rosay has always been one for selecting the best beats to spit his lyrics over, but most recent collaboration with Just Blaze is a whole different animal.  Somewhere between a potential gangster anthem and a heartfelt declaration of his love for “b*tches”, Ross’s newest web release is definitely worth taking a listen to.  Click the pic above to check it out.

All Access Music Conference.

Becoming a growing force in the music industry is something that’s extremely difficult, and something that every new artist struggles with.  People need every tool they can get their hands on to get a grip on their dreams, and as a talent manager, I’m always trying to help my clients get ahead.  My boy Mike G. put me onto The All Access Music Conference (AAMC), and I was wowed.  The conference brings together many of today’s most prominent and influential music industry executives to not only discover new talent, but to also help educate Up-and-Coming Artists, Producers & Songwriters.  The AAMC is currently the only music conference created by actual INDUSTRY VETERANS with Major Label A&R experience. Conference participants include Unsigned Recording Artists, Record Producers, Songwriters, Independent Record Labels, Talent Managers and Entertainment Lawyers.

Let Me Just Make This Statement Loud And Clear, Jersey’s Here.

So I want to make this perfectly clear before I begin, I have nothing against Jersey Shore, Jerseylicious, or The Real House Wives Of New Jersey.  So now that we have that out of the way, I’m writing this because DJ Pauly D was in San Francisco recently, spinning at one of the largest clubs in the bay.  (And congrats to him, I spun that club when I was 21, but it only took him 2 years of being famous and 30 years of life to get on the same tables).  But after his club appearance, I was hit with a blazing tempest of questions about New Jersey from people… Questions like if everyone in NJ is like the cast of Jersey Shore/Jerseylicious, or folks asking me how it feels to have the most influential people out of New Jersey to be J-Wow and Snookie.  I even had someone ask if my mother was like one of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey”.  So I just want to make this clear to a few folks, and make a ”short” list of people who have done something substantial that were born or raised in New Jersey, just so were clear.  Check the method below.

A-Team Remix

Many people have seen the above video of beat master Just Blaze cooking up his A-Team remix and unleashing it in a New York night club, but since the videos release, the internet was swarmed with people trying to get their hands on the actual track.  The track was intended to be released the same day as the film, and as the day of this post happens to be June 11th, I have here for you the finished track.  (I’m not sure of the legality of a free download for this track, so if the link becomes dysfunctional, just comment, and I’ll fix it.)  Click the pic below to download.
