I love to laugh, and there’s nothing better than a person with a good sense of humor. That being said, I feel like the new ”6 Foot 7” Video from Lil Wayne demonstrates the fact that he can get a good laugh out of people. The video (which has been delayed for quite some time to put the finishing touches on it) starts of with a seemingly random spoof of ‘Inception’ that was directed by Hype Williams, and proceeds to visualize most of the content he talks about in the bars of the song. The images that come on screen for “Sleep”, “Death”, “Father Time”, and “Mother Nature” are extremely imaginative and very well done, and the image for the line “Young Money runnin sh*t” (above) had me literally laughing out loud. All in all the song ‘6 Foot 7’ is rivaling ‘A Milli’ in popularity, but the video for Wayne’s most recent hit is far more inventive and creative than his hit for the Carter 3. Bottom line, the video has to be seen to be absorbed in all its splendor… Click the pic to watch the video.
Anne Hathaway has been cast as Catwoman, a.k.a. Selina Kyle, in “The Dark Knight Rises,” Warner Bros. announced Wednesday. Hathaway, who is also hosting the Oscars this year, might seem a little cutesy for the traditionally sexy role, which has been played by bombshells Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry in the past. But better Hathaway than other actresses in consideration for the role, such as Keira Knightley (not right at all) and Jessica Biel (even worse). The real question, of course, is how will Hathaway match up to her predecessors. I can’t wait to see some pictures of the costume.
Bane going to be played by Tom Hardy in “The Dark Knight Rises,” contrary to persistent rumors. Hardy, who was Christopher Nolan’s first new hire for his last Batman movie’s cast, is on board for Bane and to say that I’m pumped about this casting is nothing short of an understatement, if you’ll forgive the pun. For those of you who aren’t terribly familiar with Bane, Bane is an escaped convict from an island prison in South America and a supervillain. Bane has abnormal strength as a result of having had experiments with a derivative of the drug Venom performed on him.
